
Let Me Introduce Myself โ
๐My name is Cheryl, and I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2014. I am a Alabama native, received her degree as a Certified Medical Assistant in 2000 and moved to Florida in 2004. I worked in Pulmonary, Cardiology, Family Medicine, and Neurosurgery during her 15-year medical career. Cheryl and her husband Michael, run Golden Elite Track and Field Club a local youth nonprofit organization. Cheryl served as board secretary for the organization from 2016-2018 and is currently serving as Community Relations Director. Cheryl also is an active board member of Sundayโs Child a local nonprofit promoting diversity and inclusion and acceptance within the LGBTQ+ community. Etheredge activity advocates for the Lupus community since being diagnosed in 2014. Cheryl enjoys spending time with her husband, son Jericho, and four bonus children one of which has Cerebal Palsy . As a community advocate, she wants to be the voice for the voiceless and spread awareness, education, and love for all.
