Mission Statement
Smiles Behind Lupus’s mission is to provide resources to those with Lupus and other Autoimmune Diseases to help individuals, families, and caregivers better to navigate through daily living.
About The Founder –
💜My name is Cheryl and I am the daughter of two Pentecostal minster (May they RIH)
💜I have been married to my amazing husband Michael since 2015 together since 2012.
💜 I have one biological son and four amazing bonus kids all grown
💜I am in an age gap marriage 19 year gap and we’re raising my bonus daughter age 26 who has Cerebral Palsy
💜I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in 2014
💜My YouTube channel used to be called Smiles Behind Lupus
💜I worked in healthcare for 15 years prior to my diagnosis
💜I currently run a youth nonprofit with my hubby , I am a board member: LGBTQ+ Ally to another nonprofit, philanthropist,and we serve our church as youth leaders.
💜I started Lupus Smile Box back in 2018. I plan to start this back next year!
